This video shows the talents that autistic children have.  Even though this child is autistic he is talented.  His talent is his artwork.  He is able to draw beautiful books pictures from the books that he reads.  It is a must see video.

The pictures this child draws are amazing.  He is only ten-years-old but he draws his pictures in such detail.  I know that we will be hearing more about this child in the future.  You might as well check his artwork now.

My brother is autistic as well and he enjoys drawing.  Right now he is working on making Christmas cards to sell.  He draws the pictures and I design the card.  These pictures are some designs that he has made for previous cards.  He has made cards for a couple of years.  He sells them to friends and family.

I love that you post the positive aspects of people with disabilities. These children are SO smart. Even though they lack in some other areas cognitively, the passion they have for certain subjects is magnificent! I LOVE IT!

This relates to my blog post about “More that meets the eye.” His talent is amazing, yet he can’t read or write. However Mr. Wiggens does this art that none of us can even think about doing!

Autistic children are just as smart, if not smarter than any “normal” child out there depending upon their talents and strong areas. I have a six year old autistic child and not only is he intellectually advanced, he is bright, talented, loving and has tons of friends. The difficult area for my child is being able to multi-task. He struggles in this area due the neurological process that autistic children struggle with.

It’s unfortunate that society “LABELS” children with disabilities when I look at my child with multi-facets that is going to take him a long way.
